Mentoring
diomgis mentors are practising engineers and architects, screened before their profile goes live. Mentees bring a goal; mentors bring the experience of having done it.
Any member can ask a mentor. Each mentor sets their own price.
Mock interviews
System design, solution architecture, ML or AI system design, coding, behavioural or a hiring-manager round, with a mentor who has run them. You get a written scorecard afterwards.
Every mentor here was screened before their profile went live. Choose one whose experience fits your goal, and ask.
0 of 1 mentor match. Clear the filters
Mentoring needs no course seat. When you want live cohorts, labs and assessed projects as well, these courses are open for enrolment.
ARC-401
Course fees in Indian rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes. See every course.
Mentoring here is for people who have built and run the systems they talk about.
Your mentees are diomgis members. You set your own price per session, or offer sessions with no payment, and you choose how you are paid: through diomgis by Razorpay, directly by your mentees, or both. diomgis takes no commission. On a payment through Razorpay you receive the amount less Razorpay's fee on that payment, which we show you up front. You choose which requests to accept and how many mentees you take at a time, and you schedule sessions on your own video link.
Application
Tell us what you have built and run, what you would mentor on, and how much time you can give.
Profile and experience check
We read your application against your LinkedIn profile and other public evidence, such as talks, papers or code.
A scenario question
If we need to know more, we ask one short, realistic question from your area, on your mentoring page. There is no trick.
A short intro call
Sometimes a conversation about how you like to mentor and what a good first session looks like.
Approval
Your profile goes live and mentees can ask you for mentoring. You choose which requests to accept.
One form, with your résumé as a PDF. You need an account; your contact details come from it and are never shown publicly.
Each mentor sets their own price per session, and some offer sessions with no payment. You pay only for a session a mentor schedules with you, and you see the amount first. You pay on the diomgis website by card, UPI, net banking or wallet, or directly to the mentor, as the mentor chooses. diomgis takes no commission. Once your mentor confirms a session, it cannot be changed or refunded, but once in the life of your account you can ask to move one for an emergency. See the refund policy.
No. Any member can ask a mentor, with or without a course seat. It is a good way to see how diomgis teaches before you choose a course. When you want to go further, see the courses open for enrolment.
Open a mentor's profile and send a request with your goal. You can have up to 3 requests waiting at a time, one per mentor. A mentor has 14 days to reply; after that the request expires and you can ask someone else.
Your message, your level and the areas you chose, and only what you tick when you send it: your first or full name, your role, your organisation, your LinkedIn profile, your goals. Never your email address or phone number.
They schedule a first session: a date, a time, its length and a link to their own video call, such as Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams. You get a notification, and your mentoring page shows the session in your own time zone. A session with no payment is scheduled straight away. A session with an amount to pay is awaiting payment until you pay, by the deadline the session shows, and the mentor confirms it; then the meeting details are on your mentoring page. A session not paid by its deadline is released. Until a paid session is confirmed, and at any time for a session with no payment, either of you can propose a different time or cancel it there. Your mentoring page also shows the contact details the mentor chose to share with the mentees they accept. Nothing personal is sent by email.
They choose a reason, such as “Not my area” or “No capacity just now”, and may add a note. You see both on your mentoring page, and can ask someone else straight away.
A practice round of a real interview, such as system design or behavioural, with a mentor who runs them, at the price they set. Afterwards they write you a scorecard that only the two of you see. It is practice: nobody can promise you a job. How mock interviews work.
Only what you choose: by default your first name and last initial, a persona instead of a photo, your role, and what you mentor in. Your email address and phone number are never shown publicly.
Yes. Plenty of good mentors are still learning something else. One account can do both.
It depends on how quickly we can check your experience. We answer every application, including the ones we do not take forward, with a reason, on your mentoring page.
Tell us through the contact page. Every mentor agrees to the mentor guidelines, and we can pause or suspend a profile that does not follow them.
