Why diomgis is sigmoid backwards
Plot almost any skill against the practice you put in and you get a sigmoid, the S-shaped curve σ(x) = 1 / (1 + e−x): a long flat start where effort seems to change nothing, a steep climb where it starts to click, then a plateau of mastery. Read our name backwards and you get sigmoid.
That is the idea. Most learning products sell the flat start. We begin at the top of the curve and work backwards: each course is written from what practitioners actually do in production, and you learn alongside mentors who are already there.
And yes, there is an “omg” in the middle of diomgis, right where the curve is steepest. That is the moment we design for: when it clicks. Expertise, reverse-engineered.
What we offer
- Live online courses. Small cohorts of up to 30 learners meet twice a week for 90-minute sessions on Zoom or Google Meet, with labs, case studies and assessed projects. See the course catalogue.
- Programmes. Four professional certificate pathways, from AI Engineer to AI Solution Architect, built from the courses.
- 1:1 mentoring. One-to-one mentoring with a screened practitioner for career transition, project reviews and interview preparation, open to every member. Each mentor sets their own price per session, and diomgis takes no commission. See how mentoring works.
- Practice between sessions. Lesson notes, quizzes, spaced-repetition flashcards and a scrolling feed of short topics, with an AI tutor grounded in your course material to follow.
All teaching happens online; nothing is shipped. Fees are listed on the pricing page.
Who it is for
Students and recent graduates, software engineers moving into AI, data professionals moving into machine learning, architects adding AI to their practice, and leaders who need to decide on and govern AI systems.
How we teach
Every course is written as measurable learning outcomes, with stated workload and assessment, and is referenced to European standards: the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) level, the ECTS credit workload and the elements of the EU recommendation on micro-credentials. Mentors are practitioners who have built the systems they teach. diomgis is not a university and its certificates are not academic degrees; the references to European frameworks are there so that learners and employers can see exactly what a course involves.
